On behalf of the faculty and staff of Lockport Township High School, we invite all veterans to attend our 10th Annual Veteran's Night Celebration at Lockport Township High School East Campus, Gymnasium on Friday, December 6, 2024, starting at approximately 5:45 PM.
We ask all veterans to report to the front entrance by 5:30 PM (at the latest; we recommend arriving at 4:45 PM if possible) where they and their family members will be admitted free of charge. The veteran(s) will then be escorted to the meeting area where they will check in and mingle with other veterans while enjoying a Jersey Mike’s sandwich and water. A sandwich will be provided for the veteran only. At approximately 5:45 PM, the celebration will begin as the veterans will enter the gymnasium, be escorted onto the court, recognized individually, and have the opportunity to participate in the holding of our flag as it is unfurled on the court for the National Anthem. All veterans registering and attending will receive a commemorative t-shirt as our way of saying, "Thank you for your service!" Also, all veterans and their families and/or friends are welcome to enjoy the basketball game as our guests as Lockport will play against Lincoln-Way West after the celebration is complete.
