On September 18, 2023, the Lockport Township High School District 205 Board of Education recognized 216 LTHS students who earned an AP Scholar Award for their outstanding academic achievement in the Advanced Placement exams given in the spring of 2023 by the College Board. Awards are given to high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. To receive AP Scholar recognition by the College Board, a student must receive a score of 3 or higher on 3 or more Advanced Placement exams.
