Welcome to Porter Special Olympics! Our mission is threefold:
We will strive to play our best against every team we play no matter what level they are
We will let every athlete regardless of skill level participate in each game they attend
We will make sportsmanship and fun our main objectives

Team Information
Lockport Township High School Special Olympics strives to give students of all intellectual and physical abilities the opportunity to participate in club sports with their peers. Our club participates in Basketball (2 levels) with Special Olympics of Illinois.
We are an Area 7 team. We compete at regionals and at the state level if we qualify. Our club team plays many different high schools and special recreational organizations throughout our season, which lasts from October through mid-March (St. Baldricks).
In our spring season, we participate in intramurals including bowling, badminton, and dance. Click here for our spring schedule. This is a great opportunity for our athletes to participate in club events with their same-age peers!
