There is not a formally served dinner, but there are stations of food around the museum with places to sit and eat.
Is there transportation provided?
Attendees must provide their own transportation to and from Prom. There is free parking available at MSI for students to park.
What forms of payment are taken?
Payment will be accepted via Omella.
Is formal attire required for prom?
Yes. Formal prom attire is classified as a dress or suit.

Experience an Unforgettable Evening: Light up the Night at Prom 2025!
The Junior Class invites you to an enchanting night at the Museum of Science and Industry on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Enjoy a delightful evening featuring dinner, dancing, and the unique opportunity to explore the museum after dark. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Monday, March 17, 2025 and will close promptly on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Instructions for Buying Prom Tickets
LTHS Junior & Senior permission slips will be completed during the ticket purchase process online. Non-LTHS guests, LTHS Freshmen & LTHS Sophomore permission slips are available in the Dean’s Office.
If you are bringing a guest who is not currently an LTHS student, is a current LTHS Freshmen or is a current LTHS Sophomore, the paper guest request form must be turned in to the Dean’s office no later than Friday March 7, 2025 at 3pm. Guest request forms will not be accepted after that date. This is required to receive the link for purchasing a ticket for your guest to attend Prom.
Only LTHS Juniors and Seniors are able to purchase a ticket to Prom. Each student may ONLY purchase one ticket. If you are bringing a non-LTHS guest, a LTHS Freshman, or a LTHS Sophomore as a guest, see the above instructions for how to receive the correct link to purchase their ticket.
Tickets sales will take place online only during the week of Monday, March 17th through Friday, March 21st using the Omella link. Students will need to complete all fields in the online permission slip and will only be allowed to purchase one ticket for themselves. If an outside guest form was approved, the LTHS student will receive an email specific to them with a special link to order their guest’s ticket.
You should receive a receipt of purchase and your information from the permission slip fields will be provided to the Prom Sponsors. In order to enter Prom, all LTHS students MUST have their valid LTHS ID. All non-LTHS students MUST have their valid school ID or a valid drivers license. Names will be checked to verify ticket purchase to enter Prom.
Please remember, there will be NO refunds of ticket money under any circumstances. If you get put on Social Suspension after purchasing your ticket, you cannot attend prom, and there will be no refund. Tickets are also NON-transferable.
