PreACT / ACT Testing
State testing this year will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Our schedule will be as follows:
Freshmen - PreACT 9
Sophomores - PreACT 10
Juniors - ACT
Seniors - Community service / college visit day
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m.

Juniors – ACT
Juniors will take the ACT with the Writing portion.

This is a graduation requirement for Juniors. Please make sure you are in attendance.

Seniors
Seniors do not have classes on April 10, 2025. Seniors are encouraged to use this day to complete community service hours or for college visits.
WHAT TO BRING FOR TESTING
Students must bring their IDs, fully charged Chromebooks, chargers, and pencils. A calculator is optional, as one is provided online. Students are permitted to bring snacks and water that they can consume during designated times.
REMEMBER, STUDENTS!
Bring a fully charged Chromebook and charging cord or device.
Eat a healthy breakfast.
Hydrate! Students may bring a sealed snack and a sealed water bottle for the break.
Get a good night’s sleep.
These exams are required by the State of Illinois. They are indicators of students’ college readiness and the school district’s progress.
These are online tests. There are two timed short breaks during testing.
Students with accommodations will receive their testing assignment from the Special Education offices. See your Case Manager with questions.
