Lockport Township High School District 205 has the advantage of a storied history and a brilliant future. Central Campus has been enriching students since 1909. Today it is the home of freshman students. The addition of East Campus, along with the technological upgrades that followed, gives students an unparalleled opportunity to utilize the most cutting-edge technology available. Lockport Township High School District 205 is a four-year comprehensive high school district with an enrollment of 3,700 students in grades 9 through 12. Classes are conducted in two buildings: East Campus and Central Campus. The Lockport program is founded upon the five A's: academics, arts, applied academics, activities, and athletics. Lockport Township High School District 205 has been recognized by The Washington Post newspaper as one of the top 9 percent of high schools in the United States for effectively preparing students for college. Lockport Township High School District 205 is located 35 miles southwest of Chicago. It is an area that encompasses ethnic, economic, cultural, and religious diversity as it serves the communities of Crest Hill, Fairmont, Homer Glen, and Lockport.
