The CCC Program serves students with an IEP and need functional life skills. The program is a community based educational program that focuses on the needs of students as they prepare for adult life. The program provides activity based opportunities and instruction to develop independence to the level that will enable the student to be a productive member of society. The focus of the program is vocational/career, social/recreational skills and independent living skills. The IEP team determines if the student’s deficits in the three areas warrant a recommendation for the program.
Students will develop communication skills and competencies through guidance and work experience which will prepare students for employment and job maintenance.
Students will develop human relations skills, personal traits and work habits necessary for transition into the work environment and social community.
Students will develop leadership skills to promote productive and responsible personal involvement in school, on the job, and in the community.
