    Vision Statement

The Lockport Township High School District 205 Foundation, being an independent 501 ©(3) organization, will strive to be a self-sustaining entity with the purpose of relieving the monetary burdens from the District while not being bound to the fiscal year budgetary constraints.

    Mission

In conjunction with the mission, philosophy and beliefs of Lockport Township High School District 205, the Foundation will garner support for the District through organized campaigns, events and partnerships beyond what is allotted in the District's budget. Contributions directly or indirectly support the needs of our students, faculty and constituency.

William and Mildred Jackson Teacher Recognition Award

The William and Mildred Jackson Teacher Recognition Award annually will honor a teacher who has exhibited special skills in the art and science of teaching, as a cocurricular moderator, or as a coach.

LTHS alumni Robert and Jill Carr donated this award, which is named after Mrs. Carr’s late parents. William Jackson was a beloved Science Department teacher as well as a golf and track coach at LTHS from 1958 to 1982. Mr. Jackson passed away in 2001.
